question 1 answer: yes

question 2 answer: just as long as it doesn't take up the whole page, and as long as it doesn't take forever to load the size really doesn't matter.

the ideal size is the size of the banner right now.

I did the photo editing.. like, darkening, adjusting colors and adding the text on Picnic.com, then I added the brushes using PS brushes from DeviantArt.com for Gimp =]

How did you get the picture to look so good? I tried to take pictures from the trailer and they were all nasty and blurry or grainy =[ Maybe you saw a different vid than I did? I got it in youtube.com

ohh, I got mine from the official Gemma Doyle site. Just took a screenshot and then pasted on PS then cut it down.

Oo you use Gimp? I didn't know you could use PS brushes on Gimp..

Well, actually its just the publisher's website for the series. I call it "official". There's interviews from Libba Bray, info on the books and book trailer for TSFT on it. You've probally been to it.
