| You must be really smart, Luna. Half the time (edit: 99.9% of the time) I have absolutely no idea at all about what my teacher is talking about. And my teacher last year had this looong drooooooning voooiiiiiice that weent ooooooon and oooooooon and ooooooon and oooooon.............. Typical class for me?
Texting friends on the calculator.
And my teacher never checked homework or anything so we were basically just graded on the final exam (he didn't do midterms or quizzes either) and whether or not we showed up for the first 3 quarters. So yeah. Didn't learn anything in that class. _________________

| Ugh, my Algebra 1 teacher kind of sucked. She was nice, but not very good at explaining things. My Geometry teacher was also pretty nice, and pretty good at teaching, but he only graded quizzes.. and I'm a horrible quiz/test taker when it comes to math. It doesn't matter if I just did 100 questions right, as soon as I get that quiz I completely blank out on equations. _________________ E Pluribus Unum

| | Well, math is in my genes. Even when I get a really bad math teacher, my mom is a math teacher. I guess what I like about math is that all of the rules are always the same. with stuff like English and Spanish, rules tend to apply most of the time. |

| Yeah, I know what you mean. I think if I understood math better and I would enjoy it more. I like it when I know what I'm doing, but when I'm not sure of something I get very frustrated. And my parents don't really know anything about like algebra or anything like that. My brother is pretty good at math, but he's at college, and he's too lazy to help people.. >.>; _________________ E Pluribus Unum

| My parents were both math majors (sp??) in college but both of them are really sucky teachers.
I used to like math, I think it's just all of the tedious work that's involved that makes me not like it. _________________

| | Yeah. I'm really feeling that way with physics right now. But it is starting to make sense again, but we have to do a million problems that are all the same. At the moment it is manageable, but I know later in the year we will be doing problems where you have to fin x so you can find y, then z, then a and it goes on forever. That is what I really don't want to do. |

| This year's math is sooo boring, I've been reading through Algebra II and still have am passing through with rainbow ribbons. What is hilarious tho is that our teacher looks bored with himself too
The only class that I'm anywhere close to worring about is Chem. Our first chapter test was today and it was fairly easy, so I hope that it is a tide of what is to come. *crosses fingers* _________________

| I hated chem while I was taking it, but now I look back on it, and it was probably one of the best classes I took my soph. year.

| | I took chem last year. It was a very interesting class. The way my teacher taught us meant that you basically learned enough to pass the test and then you forgot it, but our teacher was really funny, but he didn't really know it. He always said, "that's true" and then it evolved to just "true" and he always called people Mr. or Miss ...., but sometimes he forget their last name and just say their first. and he always said stuff like "talk during the test if you want to lose 18 points" I do sorta miss Mr. Evans though... |
